# Modrinth Launcher Download Instructions

1. Navigate to [https://modrinth.com/app](https://modrinth.com/app), and click
the `Download Modrinth App` button for your OS:

2. Installing the app varies by your computer.

**Windows 10/11**:

Run the installer file you just downloaded, and it will open a
`Modrinth App Setup` window that will guide you through the installation. You
can mostly just click `Next` repeatedly in the bottom right, though change the
options for creating Desktop shortcuts and such to your liking, and open the
app once you're done.

**MacOS**:

Open the `.dmg` file that you just downloaded, and drag the `Modrinth` app
into your `Applications` folder. You can then safely close and delete the
downloaded `.dmg` and open Modrinth.

**Linux**:

Click the `More Download Options` button on the website to get provided
AppImage or Debian or RPM package for your preferred package manager, or
explore to find your own solution if you so desire. If you're using Linux to
play modded Minecraft, I trust you to find whatever cursed solution you like
best.

3. Once in the Modrinth app, we now need to add our modpack. Click the `+`
button on the left to add a new instance, then select `From File` and pick
the provided `.mrpack` file for our modpack.

After letting it download for a while, it should eventually finish installing
our pack! It will add a new button for it where the `+` button was before, and
selecting that will bring us to this page for launching the modpack:

You can then hit `Play` and follow the prompts for signing into your Minecraft
account, and the game should open! Please ping me `@myrari` if you have any
